What’s the first thing that comes to your head when you think about Germany? For us it’s the currywurst. We were asked to combine this association with the Beer Geek Madness 3 festival motto of “pushing the boundaries” and that’s how our smoked spiced saison came to be. Saison Curry Wurst – brewed specially for Beer Geek Madness 3.
Ingredients: water; Barley malts: Smoked, Pilsner; Sugar, Cardamom, Coriander, Black pepper; Hops: Chinook; Yeast: WLP565
Unfiltered, pasteurized.

BIRBANT (pronounced ‘beer-bunt’; Polish for ‘bon vivant’) contract brewery was established in 2013 by Jarek and Krzysiek (a.k.a. Kuli), two brewers and beer enthusiasts. Jarek is a professional brewer, who’s worked with several different breweries, while Kuli started brewing at home in 2003 and in the ten years before BIRBANT many of his home batches earned him awards at homebrew competitions. In their own words: “We have worked together on new recipes for a few years now. Our goal is to make flavorful and exceptionally aromatic beers we would like to drink ourselves.”

Jarek - graduated from the University of Agriculture in Cracow with a degree in fermentation technology.
His adventure with beer began in 2001 when he brewed his first batch.
Kuli - started brewing at home in 2003.
Their paths crossed in 2006 in Zielona Góra at Haust microbrewery, where Jarek’s experience combined with Krzysiek’s uncompromising approach to homebrewing resulted in many new ideas and beer recipes, including their famous Red AIPA.

De brouwerij maakt gebruik van een Hopsbant!?

The beginnings
“Our heads are full of ideas and the traditional methods of hopping in the kettle and dry hopping in the tank quickly became insufficient.”
The development
“The first step towards gaining experience in extracting hop aromas was designing and building a “centrifuge”, a device (nicknamed Fran) for dry-hopping during maturation.
The technical premise behind it was to mix hot water with hops and after a certain time pump the resulting mixture into the maturation tank. The effects were satisfactory, but we wanted more.”

After months of struggling to find the right technological solutions, our dream circulation-hopping device, the HOPSBANT, was ready. We fitted it with an additional pump that forces the beer to circulate around the core. A few hours of such centrifugal madness helps extract all the hoppy goodnes we want for our beers.

Nou, nu zie ik het is zeker een machine die wordt gebruikt om te hoppen in de stroom van de kou! Ik vraag me af hoe je deze creatie interpretowaliście.
Voor veel verschillende manieren vaak Hop Rocket genoemd. Hier de jongens van de brouwerij gaf haar een stuk van zijn naam en creëerde hybride - HopsBant.
Hopsbant! Want hier gebruiken we de volledige capaciteiten van onze toestellen, triple hoppen koude stroom ... hij werkte hard onze vriend. 
Waarom Fresh IPA? Want als op de rand van uitputting van Amerikaanse goederen van de oogst van vorig jaar, wachten op de verse hop en uiteindelijk is het het moment dat we kunnen genieten van de geur van nieuwe collecties rechtstreeks uit het buitenland.
Zo doordrenkt met verse hop HopsBant ... [herinnering van de auteur - als die hop (hop) is een soort van vaste planten in dezelfde familie als hennep (Cannabaceae) zijn allemaal duidelijk] ... Sincere brief tanden en de verhoogde leerling 😉is goed fase. Ik hoop dat na het legen van de fles zie ook eenogige hop aroma's verspreiden mysterieuze, spannende koeien (waarschijnlijk op een melk stout) en branden graancirkels. Hij gevisualiseerd als een van de ontwerpers van het Agentschap Flov verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp van het label.

The Hopsbant is on! Our aroma-enhancing device worked at full capacity to dry-hop this beer three times as it passed through its metallic shell, and it did a hell of a job.
Why did we call it a Fresh IPA? Because we brewed it with long-awaited fresh American hops that arrived in the nick of time, just as we were running out of last year’s supply.

Jamarillo

This hybrid incorporates the character of lager yeast fermenting in temperatures typical for American ales, biscuity maltiness and the aroma of tropical fruits. It’s a light, smooth, bottom-fermented beer hopped with aromatic Jarrylo and Amarillo varieties.

RIS Blended
Russian Imperial Stout BA

You’re holding in your hand a blended barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout, a blend of beers that aged a few months in rum, whisky and bourbon barrels.

Blame Canada
Foreign Extra Stout

No tall tales, no bad jokes, rhymes or made-up anecdotes. If you need a joke, look no further than the label with those four ugly mugs. The beer you’re holding in your hand is a strong stout brewed with maple syrup and aged on Jack Daniels-flavored wood chips. Need anything more? Then you’re gonna need to set up your own brewery, distillery and woodshop, and learn how to harvest maple syrup. Sounds like too much work? Don’t blame us. Blame Canada. We wouldn’t have brewed this beer if it hadn’t been for the Founders KBS Stout, and without Canada there would be no KBS. So Blame Canada. Now drink it already!

Miss Big Foot is the first beer in the BIRBANT & Friends line, a series of collaborations with friendly craft beer pubs. It was brewed together with the folks from Poznań-based Piwna Stopa pub with the recipe authored by homebrewer Sebastian Łęszczak.

You probably know our cult Red AIPA with its complex hoppy and malty aroma. Now you can try its imperial version, a full-bodied beer with a malty depth to it, made highly drinkable by its staggering 104 IBUs, that owes its intense American hop aroma to our prototype flow-hopping device, the HOPSBANT.

Encouraged by his success, Tom went too far, meddling with forces he couldn’t control. The brewer drank some of the dark liquid and felt his taste buds waken to the chocolate and coffee rhythms of tiramisu. Then came the bitterness, a powerful blow that made his body writhe in feverish anticipation. When the transformation was over, Tom’s mind was one with chaos, and only two words seemed to emerge from the pulse: Black AIPA.

Whilst still in college, Tom won quite a reputation for brewing. Thinking himself above the law, he experimented with many forbidden ingredients. He’d gotten away with everything up to this point, but eventually his obsession to create a beer-based panacea blinded him to consequences and his experiments became more and more bold. His next creation was a potion whose aroma put flowers and passion fruit to shame – the White AIPA.
