Mondgevoel is prima.

Floral, resiny, fairly dank, lightly citrusy/grapefruit hops dominate the aroma, with a soft caramel sweetness countering.
Flavor reveals more citrus punch upfront, finishing resiny and moderately bitter. The caramel malt backbone lends a mild sweetness that plays well with the citrus and bitterness (www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/423/46606/).
Wonderful bottle conditioned IPA at 5.7%. Abundant and original flavors.
A Frothy pour, straw golden color- But the head is like merengue and forms a floating island and the lacing is plentiful. A lot of lacing behind, good looking.
S Bold bright brassy citrus up front with pilsner malt crispness, and doses of pineapple and orange zest in the peppery end-notes.
T Follows the smell with strong grapefruit flavors backed by orange zest, lemongrass, and herbs against a pilsner like lemony malt bill.
F - Thinnish. Not as weighty as the best. Dry, hoppy bitter, almost chalky finish with a lingering, bitey grapefruit taste. Too monotone?
Great bottle ferment with some catty, nutty, grassy elements (www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/423/46606/).
Appearance
Bright golden in color with a nice, big, fluffy head. There is some nice lacing on the glass. This beer is also bottle conditioned so it has a yeasty haze to it.
Smell
A very subtle hop character that actually reminds me of a mowed yard or some kind of earthy foliage aroma. It is paired with a bit of citrus that didn’t hit me at first, and a bit more fruity smell than I was expecting.
Taste
I don’t get much sweetness in this IPA, which is good, but I really don’t get any sweetness at all. The hop bitterness attacks my tounge from front to back and the bitterness sticks to the back, but there doesn’t seem to be a malty sweetness to balance. In all honesty, it seems to be lacking a little bit on the front end of the tasting and explodes at the end. I get a little bit of pine and believe it or not, bread like, when I look deep into the flavor. It could be the yeast in the bottle.
Mouthfeel
Very zippy on the tounge, but I kind of expect that from IPA’s now. A medium bodied brew that goes down easy.
Drinkability
The bitterness does remind me of the Ranger IPA that I tried last week. It just seems to linger a bit longer than I’d like. However, I do think this beer has a decent drink-ability to it. I would prefer a bit of sweetness to counter balance the hop flavor. ....
Overall
A very surprising beer to me. I was not expecting something this complex. However, just because it is complex, does not mean it is better. I do recommend any hop lover to give this a try because the hop flavor and bitter is definitely apparent. If you like a bit of sweetness in your IPA, stay away from it as it will disappoint. Overall though, a nice beer and I really appreciate Jez Mez suggesting it to me! It will definitely go into the rotation (http://mikesbrewreview.com/review-of-boulevard-single-wide-ipa/).

Boulevard Single Wide IPA
American IPA · 5.7% ABV · 57.0 IBU
Style Description:
A bitter, moderately strong American pale ale that uses its clean, supporting malt to showcase its hop character (http://atlanta.taphunter.com/beer/Boulevard-Single-Wide-IPA).
Boulevard Brewing Company has grown to be the largest specialty brewer in the Midwest, with full or partial distribution currently in 31 states and Washington DC. Since 1989 our brewery has remained dedicated to the craft of producing fresh, flavorful beers using traditional ingredients and the best of both old and new brewing techniques (www.boulevard.com/wp-content/themes/boulevard960/ageverify.php?r=http://www.boulevard.com).
Boulevard Brewing Company is a regional brewery located in Kansas City, Missouri. The Brewers Association currently ranks the American arm of Boulevard's parent company, Duvel Moortgat USA, as the 12th largest craft brewery, and the 18th largest active brewery in the United States based on 2014 sales volume. After the sale of Anheuser-Busch to InBev in 2008, Boulevard was the largest independent American brewery in the state of Missouri.
In 2013, Boulevard was acquired by Duvel Moortgat Brewery. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but industry publication Beer Business Daily estimated the sale price exceeds $100 million.
...
Boulevard began in 1988 when founder John McDonald started construction of the brewery in a turn-of-the-century brick building on Kansas City’s historic Southwest Boulevard. A vintage Bavarian brewhouse was installed with used equipment from a closed brewery in Bavaria, Germany, and the first batches of beer were produced in the fall of 1989. Based on the historic example set by the local and regional breweries that were once common throughout the United States prior to Prohibition, the brewery has a focus on providing locally-brewed beer for the Kansas City region (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boulevard_Brewing_Company).
